"Pandemic: The enemy of dreams"
First reported to the World Health Organization on December 31, 2019, it was the first time this happened (WHO). On January 30, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the COVID-19 outbreak a global health emergency. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a global epidemic. It affected a great deal about our lives not just in one aspect but in all of the areas of our lives that has thrown at us, it has an impact on each and every one of them. At first, our lifestyle changed in the way the we are struggling to adapt to, but then we slowly started to accept that maybe this is what is destined towards us.

"BUILD THE RESILIENCE OF FUTURE"
““All great beginnings start in the dark, when the moon greets you to a new day at midnight.” ―Shannon L. Alder”
This pandemic has been difficult, but development occurs when faced with adversity, and the greatest breakthroughs are often the consequence of overcoming the most difficult obstacles. Even if hardships arise, you can go on doing what you've been doing. However, when everything is different and you are constrained in many ways, you must come up with innovative solutions to get things done. The experience of going through the epidemic has its advantages.
"THE DREADFUL BARRIERS OF EDUCATION "

While some countries believe that the unplanned and rapid transition to online learning – with no training, insufficient bandwidth, and little preparation – will result in a poor user experience that is unsustainable, others believe that a new hybrid model of education will emerge with significant benefits. However, there are obstacles to overcome. Certain students who lack dependable internet connection and/or technology have a difficult time engaging in digital learning; this divide exists across nations and across socioeconomic groups within countries. To maximize the benefits of online learning, a deliberate effort must be made to offer this structure and to go beyond just duplicating a physical class/lecture through video capability, but rather to use a variety of collaborative tools and engagement techniques that encourage learning.
"THE REVOLTS OF HUNGER AND POVERTY"

Around 4.5 million Filipinos have lost jobs this year, pushing the unemployment rate to 10.4 percent - the worst level in 15 years, according to the government, owing to the Covid-19 epidemic and the lockdown that forced thousands of companies to close. From mid-March to May, the Philippines implemented an extended community quarantine, or ECQ, in regions with a high number of Covid-19 infections, effectively shutting down 75% of the economy. In October of last year, the unemployment rate was 4.6 percent, or two million unemployed.
Over 3 million children in the Philippines suffer from stunted development due to hunger, while 618,000 are classified as "wasted" – a condition described by the World Health Organization as low weight for height. In an attempt to avert more lockdowns and jump-start the failing economy, the government is now betting on vaccinations. Many Filipinos remain dubious, and vaccine take-up remains dangerously low.
